I run by the theory that if it tastes like crap, it will eventurally kill you. It's only a theory though, no one wants to prove it for me.
BTW, a cool thing about smoking is it's badass. I mean, people who smoke don't care that it will kill them, so they smoke anyway. And that makes them badass.

And thats pretty much why smoking is taken on by a great many youths, despite the warnings emblazoned on the packets and the advise of elders who suffered the addiction and are now paying for it with their lives. You've either got to be thick, or immature to start smoking, and sustain tobacco activity for long enough to get addicted, thinking its "cool".
Besides the infamously cited fact that its bad for you, tobacco also costs a lot of money, which otherwise i could be spending on much more fun or creative things, like musical instruments, games or CD's. If they were free (or at least cheap), and they didnt prove detrimental to your health, it'd probably no longer be "badass" anymore anyway, thus ultimately destroying any reason to smoke them.
